Surviving Bedrest

There have been several times over the past few weeks when out of sheer desperation I've googled "How to Survive Bedrest." It certainly was something I was not expecting to deal with, especially for something unrelated to my pregnancy but so far I'm managing to survive. My sweet husband has been making sure that I am eating & has even been cleaning the house. He was able to be home with me for the first several days and it was so nice to have him here. He stocked up on audio books at the library. I don't think there's any way I'll be able to get through all these but I'm prepared just in case.
One of Joe's co-workers stopped by with a bag full of movies - I stopped counting at 30! That's a lot of movies but it's been great to have some other entertainment options. It was so sweet of her to stop by and I really appreciated her thoughtfulness and company.
One of my co-workers sent flowers. They are beautiful and really brighten up my kitchen!

Another set of friends, stopped by last night with some flowers as well. It was so nice to actually see people! It's hard not to go stir-crazy sometimes!
It's been nice to have extra time to be able to have nice long chats with friends from back home! I'll admit, I've even snuck in a few naps here and there, it is bedrest after-all! :)

  1. so sorry you have to be on bedrest! Stay positive, and here's hoping you'll be back on your feet faster than you think. :o)
