Yay for Jesus day! Joe and I were just talking and this is a snippet of our morning conversation, lol. I even heard him say, we should get t-shirts made, how funny!
So, Spa Night last night was amazing! First off, the neighbor's daughter was at our house and when I went to leave she told me "make a new friend" - how absolutely sweet is that?!? It was exactly the encouragement I needed since I was a little apprehensive, especially when I pulled into the parking lot and my little civic was the only car - everything else in the lot was a minivan! Every single person was so nice and welcoming and I met some really cool people. For the first time since we've been here, I feel like I am starting to belong. I finally feel like myself again. Hallelujah! Last night was so encouraging and I really hope I can get to know even more people. Two of the girls I really felt like I connected with live in my development - one is even in walking distance! So exciting! Oh and ps, I drove the whole way there and back without stalling my car at all!!! That is a momentous indeed!
We have a full day today - church, then off to buy some chairs for the patio (we have no where to sit), and we're going to work on the back yard. I have a feeling it's going to be quite the process as we are planning on tearing up the whole yard. We realized the other day that we have NO grass - it's all just weeds and these pricker plants. We're going to try to make it a nice yard. So step one starts today. Oh and we will be going to the beach today - after all that work, yay!
Praise our God for He is good!
