Good deal

I love a good deal! Seriously, I"m a coupon clipper extraordinaire and I love when I get my receipt and can see how much I saved on my bill. Yesterday, I got such a great deal, I just couldn't pass it up!
When Joe came home last night, he found our bed made up with this new comforter:
The picture just doesn't do it justice. The colors are really pretty and I absolutely love the design on the reverse side. It's actually pretty lightweight, so we can still use it even though we're in Hawaii. And the best part, it was only $34!! I wasn't even in the market for a comforter but my friend was looking and we found this one - we thought it was mismarked but when we took it up to the front it rang up $34!! I quickly asked if they had any more - there was one king size left in the store, so I bought it. We don't even have a king size bed but it works perfectly. I think the cashier in the store was a little disappointed, she said if I didn't get it then she was going to buy it. When I got home, I checked the website and it isn't on sale - still not quite sure how we got this awesome deal but you won't find me complaining!
Other things I'm excited about (in no particular order):

☆ The new update for my Kindle that allows page numbers! You have no idea how exciting this is - it will make book club discussions so much easier.
★ My package from Avon that I am expecting (Thanks, Laura). I'm in desperate need of their Skin So Soft bug repellent as the mosquitoes here are out of control!
☆ The incredible church service last night! Brian Houston from Hillsong spoke and it was a very convicting but necessary message for me to hear. It was wonderful!
★ I've been reading a lot of great books recently. Can't wait to finish the one I'm currently reading, I want to see how it ends!

Happy Thursday friends!

  1. Skin So Soft is the best mosquito repellent ever!! They were 10X worse when I lived in Panama and they were immune to Off. I need to get in touch with your Avon lady!

I am excited about page numbers on the Kindle too, way less confusing!!
