Wednesday ramblings on a Thursday

I sure do love the men in my life. It was for them that I walked 5,000 5+ miles yesterday and I sure am feeling it today! And not just in my legs, I think starting my walk at 11:30 am might not have been a good idea. Oh well, I had a good time, got some exercise and some sun, so it's all good!
After my walk yesterday, I cleaned (lame, I know), baked an awesome blueberry/lemon cake/cobbler thing. I gave half away as a thank you gift and the other half has mysteriously disappeared. I'm hoping my husband had something to do with the missing half and that he brings it back - I only tasted the small sliver that fell off when I was removing it from the pan and I was really looking forward to having more of it. I didn't even get to take a picture of it!
I also made the now famous Casserole Pizza , from Mrs. Muffins and I have to say it was
amazing!

Since I can't eat gluten, most of the pizza crusts I make are flat & very cardboard like in their texture. This was so not the case with this pizza, it was flavorful and tasted divine! My only regret was that I didn't make more, I only got one piece and I had been really looking forward to eating it. I might just make another one for me for lunch today!
Part of my walk yesterday, included a trip to Costco, where I printed off some pictures. I put them in frames around the house and it finally feels like we actually inhabit this place! It was great going through photos and picking out some of my favorites to print!

The professional photos in these pics are all from my good friend, Beth. She is amazing - check out her site!

The song "How He Loves Us" (David Crowder, Kim Walker, John Mark McMilan all have versions of it) keeps coming up in my life. Today, one of the blogs I read featured a video about the story behind the song. It was really interesting and I especially liked the end. Check it out here if you have time.

Have a great Thursday!
Be blessed!
