This weekend was wonderful, such a nice time to unwind from a crazy week at work! I spent Friday night with G.I. Joe's Wife - we had a great time pigging out on McDonalds (rolo McFlurry, anyone?), listening to her little girl crack herself up & watching 1/2 of Steel Magnolias. I came home early & attempted to watch the 2nd half of the movie on Netflix but fell asleep. I cleaned Saturday morning & Joe and I went to run some errands. We ended up stopping by the pool & it was incredible! I am going to start going there more often, it was so relaxing! We were both starving and went straight from the pool to our new favorite place, Nicos. The chef is French, the fish is fresh (caught in the morning) and the prices are very reasonable. We love the atmosphere, it is such a neat place! We actually almost went back again today but I thought that might be too much of a good thing! Today, we had a great service at church although the pastor talked a lot about food so by the time service was over we were starving! We went and grabbed some breakfast & Jamba Juice and then relaxed at the house - I was able to talk to both my grandparents & my mom! I love catching up with them & can't wait until we live closer! We found out the movie theater on base was showing "Watch to Expect When You're Expecting" - so we went to see it. Joe insisted on leaving 45 minutes early, it ended up being a good thing as we went to the wrong movie theater & then got lost trying to get to the right one. We both agreed we will definitely try to see more movies on base - the theater was so nice (and cheap, lol)! The movie was cute & a great way to finish off our weekend!

Weekend Recap
