New 'do

It had been entirely too long since I've gotten my hair got, like a year in a half too long! I have been talking about it forever and have had the hairstyle I wanted (thanks, Beth) taped on my bulletin board since March. Finally on Friday, after I spent an hour blow drying my hair, I was so hot and frustrated, I vowed that I would get my hair cut that day. The stylist cut shape into my hair (hallelujah) and it feels so much lighter! I didn't like it at first but now that I've had some time to play around with it (and some encouraging words from a friend), I'm starting to like it more. And I promise, it won't be 18 months til my next haircut. Here's the before (on the left) and after (on the right). The pictures don't really do it justice - I almost wish I would have gotten it cut shorter -almost, maybe next time!
