Shopping after having a baby has been basically non-existent! I went to Target and was unable to try on even two pairs of pants without having to tend to the baby. She's cute, so I don't mind too much but I definitely could use a more convenient way to shop! I heard about StitchFix from some blogs I read so I figured I'd give it a try! I filled out a Style Questionnaire, paid $20, and scheduled my first "fix". A stylist at StitchFix, picks 5 items to send - you can try them on at home, keep what works and send back what dosen't. It's a fun way to try on some new clothes and get some new wardrobe options.
In my StitchFix, I received a pair of black pants, a purple top, a gold lace necklace, a black & coral dress and a bohemian-style top. I was really impressed with the quality of the items & I thought the fit was pretty good as well. Each item contained a card with a description of the item along with different ways to style it. All in all, I was pretty impressed! It was a fun little experience and a nice way to try on some new clothes and experiment with different styles.
Want to try it out? If you use this link, I get a credit!
PS: StitchFix doesn't know I exist, just passing on some info about an interesting service that I thought others might enjoy as well.

Wow! It is awesome that you did this! I love it! What a great idea. Totally considering this, and if so, I'll will use your link :) will you do it again? Post again if you do! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI might do it again- It was fun but I thought the clothes were a little expensive. I forgot to mention the $20 pays for the fee to send the clothes and then is credited to anything you keep. I gave them feedback about the price point and made sure to change my preferences to the lower end of the spectrum. The quality was really good though & overall I was impressed. If I do it again, I will let you know!
